Circle In The Square Theatre tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a theatre experience that’s a little different from the usual Broadway hustle? Circle In The Square Theatre is one of those hidden gems that really stands out. Nestled between 8th Avenue and Broadway on 50th Street, this place has a vibe all its own. It’s famous for its innovative staging and unique architectural design, which was actually crafted by architect McGinnis, yeah, the building itself is almost as theatrical as what’s on stage. Fun fact: back in the late 1960s, it was the home for the original cast of Hair, breaking all the rules with its edgy, revolutionary take on musical theatre. Fast forward to 2019, and they hosted a special run of Kinky Boots that brought a whole new energy to the space. The theatre’s design, especially the elevated upper level, really amps up the drama, I mean, you can’t help but feel immersed. They’re always mixing things up with creative staging and surprising audience layouts, which keeps every show fresh and exciting. If you’re in New York and craving something a bit off the beaten path, this theatre is a must-visit. And honestly, whether you’re snagging last-minute tickets through their interactive seating chart or enjoying a cozy red-bagged seat, you're in for a memorable night that’s a little more intimate than the big box theatres. Just don’t forget to share your favorite moments, because trust me, you’ll want to remember this one.
